After One Year: The Bahamian Collection – VIDEO

You are invited to attend the opening reception of The Bahamian Collection on July 11th at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas at 6:30pm.

Forty of the finished portrait photographs from the first year of the Bahamian Project will be unveiled as the Bahamian Collection and will be on display at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas as part of the NAGB’s programming for the 40th Anniversary of The Bahamas’ Independence.

Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes & Lady Foulkes will open the Collection on July 11th at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas.

The Bahamian Project is an ongoing non-profit initiative in collaboration with the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas and Popopstudios International Center for the Visual Arts, to create a collection of portraits that will inspire the foundation of a permanent National Portrait Gallery.
